Marsupial therapy Day 2

So here are some sweet pics of Eva and Christi..This may also offer a better idea of how big she really is. At this point she is plus 70 grams over 1000. We had to make an early exit as another baby needed some procedure, thus no therapy for myself.

I cried yesterday when I saw the first marsupial therapy picture. Very touching. (No pun intended...)

Todd Lands is looking over my shoulder and sends his best.

My thoughts and prayers continue to be with you.

Howdy from Austin, Texas! Cathy and Judy here admiring all the beautiful pictures of ya'll and your daughter. We especially love the one with mom and daughter during Marsupial Therapy. We miss Lorrie's text messaging, but we know it's hard from Italy. OK..we want a conversion scale from grams to pounds and ounces!! We are so thankful for the daily gains and we know that you all wish you could spend more time with her than the hospital allows. Yet it's nice to know she's in such great care. We thought it was so sweet the day that Babbo posted, "I held her and she held me." It's nice to know that God is holding you all in His care!
Much love, ..."Great Aunts..Cathy and Judy"..

Hi Bill and Christi,

A week and a half ago, I spent the night with the Cumming kids (the 6 and 8 year old kids from Mexico I have been teaching and caring for in Rome for the last 2 1/2 years). Before I tucked them in, we prayed our bedtime prayers together. I told them a little bit about Eva and explained that she needs an extra "boost" of grace that the prayers of children -- which seem to have a special way of tweaking the heart of God -- can give her. We all prayed for her together that night.

When I returned a week later, one of the first things their mom asked me is, "Who is this little baby that my children keep praying for?" For the last week and a half, they ask Jesus for extra help for Eva every single night before they go to bed! :)

You’re right, Bill: There’s a “global community” out there praying for you.

With love and prayers,
Erica

What great pictures and what a wonderful moment. She's just lovely and Christi looks so peaceful and serene in that picture. I can only imagine the relief this gives you both.

I've definitely been missing out this week- I don't know what the story is, but I wasn't seeing any new posts this week. I log onto a different computer today and see a bunch! Guess I needed to clear my cookies?

Anyway, thank you for continue to share these moments, Bill. It is much appreciated.

I hope you both are staying strong. I know God is watching over you all.

Love,
Erika

Dear ones,
I'm so glad to see your dear one improve with each passing day. You are all in our thoughts and prayers day by day. The children (now 7th and 8th graders!) at HVCS keep you in their prayers and thoughts as well. I will work out a way for them to get in touch with you. You are very loved.
The Lord is near.
Love,
Gail
